Foundry Furnace Charging Systems 

Austeng has developed the most accurate and advanced furnace charging system yet. Metal is delivered to the furnaces in the correct amounts to produce the required alloy without recharging. Additives to create different alloys can be added directly into the furnace, or into a transfer ladle to improve additive recovery rates. The system is fully automatic, and comes complete with its own SCADA system. 

The advantages both in energy savings, material costs and manual handling reductions as well as health and safety improvements are impressive.


Casting Shakeouts

Austeng has manufactured a range of fully automatic vibratory shakeout machines to remove castings sand deposits in castings, from basic engine blocks to contorted manifold shapes. All the machinery is sound insulated, and fully enclosed to prevent operator ingress.
